To live a healthy life, one that gives you maximum peace  and enjoyment then you have to know how to manage stress. Constantly being under stress may lead to symptoms like; headaches, stomach pains, depression, high blood pressure, chest pains, panic attacks, and even problems with sexual performance and sleep. So it’s important to know how to respond to it, because in doing that you will effectively learn to manage your stress levels and live a healthy life.

You can respond positively and negatively to stress; smoking, excessive use of alcohol, over eating, drug abuse are some of the ways a lot of people negatively respond to stress, which in all cases makes things only worse.

So it’s important for us to know the positives ways to respond to stress and here are some tips to help you do that:

  • Relax: Sounds easier said than done right? But it’s a very important practice to remember. When you feel your stress levels building up, that will be a good time to practice breathing exercises and relaxation techniques, like listening to music that calms you down or watching a relaxing movie or video on youtube. This could literally save you from a mental breakdown or worse a heart attack. Learn to take breaks from stressful activities so you can quiet your mind and give your body and mind the time to calm down.

  • Take care of your body: Many people don’t know how important doing this is, but you have to learn how to take care of your body. Eating fruits and vegetables, going for walks and exercising, avoid overeating, excessive use of alcohol, tobacco, drug abuse and substances that can bring harm to your body. Bathing regularly, using healthy body lotions and maintaining proper physical hygiene is a really important practice if you want to take good care of your body.

  • Socialising: Human beings are designed for community and one of the best things you can do for yourself is to be a part of a community, a healthy, loving and well communicating community.  Study shows that individuals are more likely to live a better and stress free life when surrounded by a loving and caring community, you can read on that here https://bit.ly/34XF3Rm.

  • Meditation: This a practice that helps free your mind from stressful and anxious thoughts, there are different forms of meditation and you should research the one that works best for you. Meditation is about being mindful about the thoughts you let in and learning to be positive regardless of what happens around you. Our mind needs to be free from anxious thoughts and the stress that try to overwhelm us.

In conclusion, learning to live stress free is so important, it can be a the defining factor in a life or death situation, we should learn to take care of ourselves and our body so we wouldn’t have to deal with serious health issues like hypertension in the future, we hope you don’t just like this article but also put it into practice because we want you to live a long and happy life.
